MILWAUKEE SPECIALTY FOOD AND COFFEE CELEBRATES FIFTEEN MONTHS AND 15,000 HITS
Milwaukee-based weblog riding high on fifteen months of success and 15,000 page views to date.

Milwaukee, WI – August 28, 2008 – Today marks fifteen months since the launch of Milwaukee Specialty Food and Coffee, a weblog dedicated to local, national and international food and beverage news and reviews. Serendipitously, the blog also hit fifteen thousand lifetime page views today, giving the fledgling company another reason to celebrate.

Founder Michael Miller published the first blog post on May 21, 2007, and since then the blog has steadily gained readership among coffee enthusiasts, foodies and industry professionals. Miller took the step to register Milwaukee Specialty Food and Coffee as a Limited Liability Company (LLC) in August of 2007.

On Miller’s invitation, Mary Dally-Muenzmaier, former marketing manager and blogger for Stone Creek Coffee Roasters, joined Milwaukee Specialty Food and Coffee as a coauthor in late January of 2008. She has since left to found her own blog, CricketToes.

The regular and contributing authors have broadened the scope of the blog over the past several months, increasing original content with reviews of coffeehouses, restaurants and specialty food and beverage purveyors in the greater Milwaukee area and Madison, while continuing to provided up-to-date news from the national and international coffee, tea and culinary worlds. Future plans include an expansion of primary coverage to the Chicagoland area.
