I was casually clicking around Facebook when I discovered that I narrowly missed rock group Toto during my recent trip to Europe. In further surfing, I've been astounded by the success American celebrities have bridging career lulls by taking their show to the European continent. That dovetails with a thought I've been having lately--there is, in a sense, a Euro-American market in the global economy. It's made up of Americans mostly in the middle to upper classes, Canadians and Europeans, particularly Western Europeans.
