The War on Wealth (Part 2)

More on this later, but one of the reasons I believe war has been declared on wealth is that it is inconvenient to thought policing. For instance, I believe a business such as Chick-Fil-A should be free to pursue whatever discriminatory policies it chooses. . .just as, say, Alterra is free to promote the opposite worldwiew. As free economic agents, we can choose to patronize either, neither or both as we see fit. That's why I'm increasingly leaning libertarian--philosophically, economically and politically. People with wealth are people with choices. I wouldn't want to have to deny my odd patchwork worldview to gain economic opportunity, and I'm thankful that I don't. I would never wish that on anyone else, either.
