...life is full of 'em! Somehow I managed to go through life up to this evening believing that Aaron Rodgers was nearly my age. After all, my bank has a life-sized stand-up of him--wrinkles and all. And much to his credit, he doesn't request the Photoshop treatment. (I would if I were in his place.) So tonight I was rather shocked to read that he is some ten years younger than I. I'd gladly trade my relatively unwrinkled face for his straight, white teeth. Wisely, Rodgers offers little insight into his sex life and other personal affairs on Wikipedia and his official Twitter account. I was fully prepared to be cynical, but he seems like a great, nonchalant kid with an incredible talent.
Professional football is the original reality TV show. I guess it would be pointless to harp about Rodgers' activities as a paid spokesperson. It would be naive to think that pro football exists for any reason other than to sell stuff.
