Wellness: Off Topic: Darling's Daring Dental Doings

File this one under "unexpectedly painless experiences": this afternoon, I had a wisdom tooth extracted by Dr. John E. Darling of Glendale.  It was not only effortless, it seemed downright reasonable at $164.  Granted, it took about 30 seconds of wiggling for the tooth to come out.  Dr. Darling and his friendly staff made the experience anything but the stereotypical dental experience (though I've never really found dentist visits disagreeable). Coincidentally, as I started writing this post (at 8:30 p.m.), Dr. Darling called my cell phone to check up on me.  That's pretty impressive!
