Today, I received the results of recent bloodwork and was happy to see that there's been some positive movement in my cholesterol levels in the past two years.
5/29/07 Total cholesterol: 156 HDL: 57 LDL: 87 Triglycerides: 113
6/08/09 Total cholesterol: 135 HDL: 55 LDL: 68 Triglycerides: 62

Impressive! Especially since you eat out so much...even the healthy choices that restaurants offer are typically not-so-good for the cholesterol. Or does the coffee help the fatty stuff pass through faster before it can absorb?
Sincere congratulations. Walking helps a lot, I'm sure.

Yowza. Congrats about the cholesterol - though I don't know what any of those numbers mean. I'm at the Foundry Alterra before I head off to work (I'm at the Bay View store subbing today, hurray!) and I tried the Kenya per your advice - it was indeed acidic, and indeed delicious. I did not try it with cream but the first sip about knocked me off my stool. Glad I tried it before it went away!

Too bad we were both working the day shift, Ashley! I would have loved to have had that French Press. And I think you've sold me on the Burundi.
