I'm at Starbucks in Mequon. Here's a new one to me: they don't have power, other than a few lights...apparently a transformer blew. However, there is brewed coffee (as well as a few other basic, non-Espresso drinks) and Wi-Fi, so this is kind of an interesting example of how much fluff has gotten stuck to the 'Bucks. They're telling people the power has been out for 1 1/2 hours (the entire strip mall is affected). I woke up with a hangover-like headache from being in forced-air heat everywhere. The heat seems to be off here and there is no music. Other than the poor PBC having to give the same spiel to everyone who walks in--and there are many of those--I'd be in heaven. (I'm thinking this location is one of the Top 3 moneymakers for Starbucks in Southeastern Wisconsin.)
Needless to say, the registers are down so they can't collect any money, and they're giving away coupons for free drinks, so if you wanna stick it to the man, here's your opportunity :-)
