I've just received word that Rishi Tea won 7 First Place awards during the World Tea Championship held this past weekend at the 2008 World Tea Expo in Las Vegas, Nevada. As I posted last week, the Milwaukee tea importer and crafter was competing in 13 of 25 categories, and to win the #1 spot in more than half is really quite remarkable.

A source at Rishi stated in an e-mail, "We are especially thrilled that all of our winning teas are organic when most of the other entries were conventional." Huzzah to that!
