Jeff Sherman at OnMilwaukee.com posted an interesting little news item this morning about a brand new local TV show called "Wisconsin Foodie" that's supposedly set to debut this weekend on WISN-TV Channel 12.
My uncertain tone above emanates from the fact that Sherman has the coming out party date as Sunday, May 11, and yet the show's web site states that it will air Saturday, May 10. Which is it, people?! The one point of commonality is the starting time of 12PM, so I guess we can all just tune in both days and this mysterious mystery will be solved.
Watch the trailer on YouTube--complete with nausea-inducing fast motion and carefully calculated out of focus shots strangely reminiscent of Gourmet's Diary of a Foodie--and decide whether or not it's worth remembering to sit your butt down in front of the boob tube midday.
UPDATE: Sherman has changed his date to match that of the show's web site, so belly up to the warm glow of your TV on Saturday, May 10.
UPDATE: Ooh, lookie here--they're havin' a preview screening and kick-off party tomorrow at the Milwaukee Public Market from 6-8PM.
