Saturday at Stone Creek in Whitefish Bay, I again received a cup of the dreaded aged coffee. My conclusion is that the discovery cost of ordering drip coffee in a coffeehouse is far too high. Unless you go right at opening or know the staff, you pretty much have no idea whether or not the coffee will be fresh. I really wish more places would offer French press service. I know Alterra Foundry does; not sure about their other locations.

I'll get honest about these coffee reviews:
If you go to some chain like starbucks or stone creek, especially when it's not first thing in the morning, of course their drop coffee is going to suck. I'd say you are much better off getting an espresso, latte, or the likes of that.
Why not do reviews of other drinks besides the regular drip coffee? I'd like to know where to get the best latte in town, especially made with soy.
How about Fuel? Annodyne? Or any of the other unique coffee places around?
As for whole foods, I'm gonna go check it out myself at some point...me and my curves are going on our own date.
Later!
